jumpstart:
In 2002, kjmi's first book, jumpstart the heart, was published. As a buildup to that, I redesigned their website with the same feel as the jumpstart book series using the background of the book cover as the background for the website. It's a very nice "spacey" feel. I think this is when I started using the clouds and patchwork filters. Spherize, gradients, text masks, etc... were used. It's a nice design. Also, formmail was used for the first time.

This was an idea that I had for some letterhead. That's about it. It was never used.

prototype:
I really liked this design. Unfortunately, I don't make the decisions and it was scrapped. It ended up being hacked a little to create the first destiny church site, but it was never as cool as this original. It has some embossed text, radial gradients, animated menus, etc...

Here's the original kjmi site in all its glory. This was one of the first websites that I did, professionally. That was like 5 years ago. I've since been tasked with updates and maintenance (uggg...). It's a clean design using css. There's nothing too special and nothing to write home to mamma about, but it worked and it was in service for about 3 years.
