alive and awake:
This is ae as it now stands. Photoshop will inverse the contents of a layer with ctrl-i. As you can see, this has been used, extensively, in this design. "Alive and awake" is a mortal song.

blurry:
In this version of ae, I made heavy use of blurring (both motion and radial) textures, as well as gradients. Also, I used xara3d, for the first time, to create the ae logo. Another first was the inclusion of a php picture gallery.

destiny:
I made this design while living in ok and working with destiny church. "And oh, some destiny still waits for me" is from a stavesacre song. This is one of my many "head" designs and it gives a good screendoory effect.

prototype:
This is a design that I never published. It was one of my first (and very few) workings with flash. I personally don't like flash much. I've seen some really cool things and I've seen some really lame things. Overall, though, I don't like to require plugins to look at a website. The only thing flash is used for, on the site, is the stream a cool mp3.

self-aware:
I believe this was the first of my "head" designs. I took a single image of me (as on the current design) and then used another picture of me for different links. Some have accused me of being a bit vain, but I think I do it because I'm so good looking!!!

blues clues:
This was one of the designs that I submitted to open source web design. This shows that you can make a nice interface without the use of crazy graphics or flash or anything else. This is just pure and simple html. It actually isn't simple, at all. You have to do a lot of work to make text look cool.
Hehehe...

bluesteel - windowed:
This is another oswd entry. It was rejected because it used graphics. I was told that I couldn't use <img> so I didn't.
Oh, well...

bluesteel - maximized:
This is another version of bluesteel.

off-kilter:
Here is a design from 2000!!! I had a javascript randomly load a design (bluesteel*, blues clues, and others were included in the pick) so when you came at different times you would see different interfaces. It really wasn't that cool, but I thought it was. Regardless, the left side has a scrolling "anti-exe-2000". That was my first swing with animation, outside of animated gif's. I've used this concept many times throughout the years.
